• Job Description

We offer part-time up to full time positions in the Non-Medical work field. Upon employment you will receive competitive pay, paid mileage and paid training. Our workers have the ability to work flexibility hours with a scheduled to fit their availability.

A caregivers job duties may include:

  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship and respite care
  • Light housekeeping
  • Transportation to and from appointments, shopping and errands.
  • Assisting with personal care, bathing and dressing
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Assistance with pet care

We offer several Job positions:

• Personal Care Worker

A trained individual who, under professional supervision, provides assistance with nutritional and environmental support, performing personal hygiene and dressing, feeding, assistance with mobility and ambulation, toileting, transferring or repositioning.

An unlicensed employee trained to provide non-medical home care services for clients under the direction of a supervisor. Assisting with simple healthcare routines such as reminders and offering stand by assist. Providing routine housekeeping tasks, laundry care, meal prep, shopping and errands.

• Homemaker

An unlicensed employee trained to provide non-medical home care services for clients under the direction of a supervisor. Assisting with simple healthcare routines such as reminders and offering stand by assist. Providing routine housekeeping tasks, laundry care, meal prep, shopping and errands.

• Companion

A companion provides respite breaks for family by offering support, supervision, encouragement and companionship. Providing observation, assistance with reading or writing, being supportive and offering encouragement during periods of loneliness, depression or confusion.

• Live-In Aide

An individual working with a client on a 24-hor basis to provide care and support the client while staying in the client’s home. Usually working alone with break periods during the day, typically on duty 12 hours (with breaks) and off duty 12 hours but still in the client’s home should a need arise. A private area for the off hours will be provided to the caregiver who is expected to follow clients house rules and be mindful of the need for privacy for all.

• Job Requirements

Must have High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.

A minimum of one-year experience of providing client care in a facility or through a Home Care agency.

Certified Nurse Aide or Medical Assistant certificate accepted and exempted from one-year experience.

Must have a cleared criminal background check and be eligible or listed on the IDPH Health Care Worker Registry.

Current Drivers license or state ID, auto insurance if driving.

Completion of orientation and initial four hours of training. Training can be exempted if there is proof of training with another agency within the past 12 months.
